Screeching To A Halt

..and here she comes ladies and gentlemen.. she's rounding the corner at an excessive rate of speed! Can she stop in time? We are beginning to doubt that! Holy Cow! She almost clipped the other driver in her desperate quest for the finish line! Here she comes! Holy cow, I've never seen anyone go so fast!...

Whew! It's all I can say for a moment. Let's breathe for a second, shall we?

--breathe in, breathe out--

I've fallen in love. Oh what a sweet love it is! You could not believe how wonderful this love is, and how important it has become in my life. I didn't think it was possible to fall in love so quickly.

He's simply gorgeous. He's wonderful and sweet. He's a ball of energy and I swear he wears me out most days.

I would like you to meet Fluffers... He's a bichon-poo. He's just 13 weeks old.

I had been visiting the pet store for three weeks out of the last month. Every time I went there, I saw Fluffers. The pet store kept marking down his price each week. Every time I went there, I fell more in love with the little bugger.

So, I finally brought him home! Wheeee!! He's the best darn dog EVER!!!

Needless to say, however, he's been keeping me super busy. When he's awake, I'm spending time with him. When he's sleeping, I'm trying to catch up on chores and errands. Life is hectic with the new edition, I tell ya!

My husband completed his layman's speaking course. He has a graduation ceremony in June. I am SUPER proud of him. He has a long way to go until he's a pastor, but he's begun his miraculous journey. I fill with pride when I think about the path he's decided to take.

Since this week is the holiest week for Christians, it will be packed full of services that we'll be attending. We usually only go to one service on Sunday, but yesterday we attended two. One was in the morning and the other was at night. It was the perfect way to start the day and the perfect way to end it.

After Easter, my whole family will be baptized. We will also become "official" members of our church. I'm very excited about both things happening. It's an exciting time in our spiritual world. I'm really enjoying myself as I venture down this road.

I've been searching for some spiritual retreats in our area. I would very much like to participate in one or two or three or four. Ha! I need to talk to my pastor to see if he knows where I could look and find.

I'm also looking for some online religious courses to take. I want to learn more. I want to learn a lot more. So far, I'm not finding exactly what I am looking for. I suppose in time that I will find it.

I'm in the process of making a cross cake for Sunday's Easter service. I have so many flowers to hand sculpt before Wednesday. They will need a few days to harden and dry before being placed on the cake. I think it is going to turn out beautifully! I'm hoping so anyway. I will have to post photos when I am complete.

Yes, my life has centered around religion lately. I never thought in a million years that it would make me feel as it does. I'm thankful for opening up my mind again and exploring that side of life. It's given me quite a bit.

Ohhhhhh I gotta end this! Dinner is burning! Eeek!

Congrats to your hubby. I'm not a believer, but I can still wish you a very happy Easter.
